Pizza!

Isla loves to eat pizza. I take all the cheese off and she slobbers all over it until it's mushy enough to eat. Yum!

Thanks for all the books Colin!

Colin and his mommy sent Isla a big box of books! Isla loves her new books!

This one is especially good for chewing on.

10 months!

Can you believe Isla is 10 months old already?? Here she is looking cute in her hat that her Great-Grammy made for her.

Isla has mastered the step

Albeit, not so gracefully.

Isla's daycare friend

Isla is in a room with 5 other babies (2 more starting soon). There are 4 full-time caretakers, a part-time caretaker and a part-time house-keeper in her room. Each baby is assigned to one caretaker primarily for consistency. Isla and Naomi (in the picture) are Nakia's babies and spend a lot of time together. Isla loves Naomi. They get so excited when they see each other, it's awfully adorable.

Isla is one of the older babies in the room and the most mobile. Her favorite activity seems to be crawling up to the non-mobile babies and stealing their toys.

Yummy Fried Dumplings

It all started at Stella's 1st birthday party where Isla had a fried spring roll made by Stella's Grandma. And then she got to have half of one of my spring rolls at Baltimore Pho. Last night she was inexplicably crying while in her high chair so I gave her one of my fried dumplings from Matsuri. She ate the whole thing. So it's not just purees anymore!

Thanksgiving Saturday

We had Thanksgiving part 2 at Grandpa Lang's on Saturday. Isla had a very fun time hanging out with Noah & Jack.

Aunt Meaghy trying to feed Isla a bottle, which is very difficult when there are other people around. Isla would much prefer to play with people than eat.

Isla really liked this big plastic contraption. Too bad her parents won't let her have one.

Standing up!

Pulling up to a stand no longer requires major effort. She's already a pro.

Family Picture

There aren't a lot of family pictures, but here's one with the three of us and cousin Jack.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving at our house. Both families came and this year there were 2 more babies than the last time! Thanks to everyone for coming and bringing so much food!

Climbing!

I wish I had taken a video of this! She climbed from the floor to Oscar's food box and then to his crate to try and get his toy.

Booties!

These booties are very warm for the stroller ride to school everyday, but look a teensy-bit ridiculous when she's not wearing any pants.

9 months old!

Isla is 9-months old already. I can't believe how fast it's gone. She's still mostly using the military-style crawl to get around, but definitely tries getting up on her hands and knees.

We all love Denver

Isla had her first plane ride last weekend to go visit Lauren & Sean in Denver. She was extremely good on the plane ride there, a little less happy on the way home. We all had a great time! The weather was beautiful and we got to do lots of fun stuff! Isla had a little trouble adjusting to all the time changes, but seems to be getting back to normal now.

Isla hasn't napped in her Ergo for at least 2-3 months, but somehow as soon as Lauren started carrying her she fell right asleep.

This is on a bridge right next to the football stadium. Doesn't quite look this around Raven's stadium...

Isla likes grass

I have 6 of this picture, because we could not get her to look up. She was just fascinated by the grass.
