Apple Picking!

Isla and I went apple picking with some of our baby friends on Sunday at Larriland Farm. Isla is starting to get tired of being in the baby carrier for long periods of time and tries to escape by back-diving out, but she really liked the apple picking. She loves to look at big kids and there were lots to look at!

Isla is starting to discover the joys of holding the spoon yourself. As you can see, she's not quite adept at feeding herself yet.

Hanging out on the floor with Oscar

Isla LOVES Oscar's toys. Somehow Oscar totally knows not to chew on Isla's toys, but she does not return the favor. We spend most of the time on the floor taking Oscar's toys out of Isla's mouth. Oscar is a very good puppy.

Isla's friend Colin gave her these balls before he left for California. She also likes them a whole lot. Just not as much as Oscar's toys.

Kira comes to visit!

Isla loved hanging out with Kira, who came to visit all the way from Canada! She thought her hand and knees were very yummy. Next time we hope Adam can come visit too!

Sorry! I haven't been taking as many pictures as usual. This is all I have to post! I have been taking lots of video, but Verizon isn't fast enough for me to post those at home.


Isla is very good at sitting by herself now. We can walk away and not worry (too much). And as you can see, Oscar is always keeping an eye on her.

She likes to sit next to her box of toys and pull them all out one by one and throw them. Unfortunately now that she can crawl, this is becoming less fun and she'd rather crawl over to Oscar and steal his bone and put it in her mouth (stay tuned for the video!) or try to grab the cables from behind the TV.
