In other news...

I can't get a picture of it yet, but Isla has a tooth! One of the bottom ones is coming in slowly.

And Isla has a new friend! My friend Kate from college has a new beautiful baby girl.

Pumpkin Party

My lab manager, Jane, has an annual pumpkin party before Halloween. Isla loved watching all the big kids carve pumpkins and run around.

Apple Picking!

Isla and I went apple picking with some of our baby friends on Sunday at Larriland Farm. Isla is starting to get tired of being in the baby carrier for long periods of time and tries to escape by back-diving out, but she really liked the apple picking. She loves to look at big kids and there were lots to look at!

Isla is starting to discover the joys of holding the spoon yourself. As you can see, she's not quite adept at feeding herself yet.

One of the substitute teachers in Isla's room at daycare calls Isla her little ham hock.

Hanging out on the floor with Oscar

Isla LOVES Oscar's toys. Somehow Oscar totally knows not to chew on Isla's toys, but she does not return the favor. We spend most of the time on the floor taking Oscar's toys out of Isla's mouth. Oscar is a very good puppy.

Isla's friend Colin gave her these balls before he left for California. She also likes them a whole lot. Just not as much as Oscar's toys.

Kira comes to visit!

Isla loved hanging out with Kira, who came to visit all the way from Canada! She thought her hand and knees were very yummy. Next time we hope Adam can come visit too!
